Appears to be Mopars at The Strip from some year..... and that would definitely be the "show car" area.

Last big block car you could get iirc... some came with 400's.

there was a nice GT in Watertown for years.... but not for sale. Was packed to the gills inside with boxes of junk. Had the nice argent wheels and chrome trim rings...

Pro Street Show puppy.
Since my son was in his 76 Fury, he took an interest. Earlier he had asked me how far I would take his car. When we were looking at the Magnum, I told him it looked like a good start! He was not amused.

Some cool stuff inside, a little overdone for my taste, but very nice.

YIKES! 10 (TEN) gauges plus a tach and speedo. Let's see...

Oil PSI
Oil Temp
Water temp
Volts
Trans Temp
N20
Boost...okay I'm out. What the heck is he monitoring with the other four, the weather??

I would have ask him, "How come you're not making runs?"...

Now I know it's not a racecar..... Shifter gives that one away!

Some things over the top, but overall a cool ride! I do miss the "unique factor" of the Mirada.....

I've got a mix of poorly painted original sheet metal combined with the foil/Dzus you speak of . Cool thing is I bet that Magnum is driven all over.... unlike my heap that either occupies space in the garage or trailer.

That is from this year, I was hoping to see it run!

Kind of assumed it was this year since Billy had a pict.... I was either in the racecar or shade. Didn't wander through the showcar area. My bad... would have liked to seen this one.

Local guy to me, real nice guy too. His car was at the chassis shop the same time mine was and he let me crawl all over it. Very nice build and he had built it to run. I believe he has made passes at Bandimere in it but I do not know what it ran. I really like it.

Better get inside Ma. Looks like a storm's comin'.

I love it, it's very much an under appreciated body style. Hope it runs well for him.

I always liked Magnums, My cousin had a really nice black one with a 400. It wasn't really impressive power wise, but them leather seats sure were comfortable.

Billy I didn't know you were hanging out in the show car section or I would have found my way over there. I spent too much time at J Body's trailer getting 4150 carb speed secrets

I wish I could have made it up there this year.
It was good seeing you at the track saturday though!
That Magnum looks pretty cool to me... but then I am kind of an oddball anyway. LOL
If it were mine - it'd probably have rubber all up behind the rear tires to go with a stack of timeslips.

BTW - I miss seeing you trying to make the earth rotate the other way with your Challenger.

Playing with big heavy stuff is like beating your head against the wall... because it feels so good when you stop! My buddies love to tease me while telling me my junk would be fast if I just pulled another 1500# of weight out of it. LOL

Nice looking magnum!

I love it when my 4 dr C body beats a car that "should" be faster. However the way new stuff runs that is getting increasingly harder to do.
