Will the keyed washer, nut and castle nut interchange between a 68 A-body drum spindle and a 73+ disc brake spindle?(the parts that are installed after the outer wheel bearing is in place) My guess is the 73+ spindle uses larger parts but don't know for sure. Thanks

All the parts are the same between the body styles, and brakes.
No difference to them at all.

The "small" nuts, washers, are 9 inch "Drum" brakes on all the A Body cars.

Ok, thanks. I'm missing the washer and castle nut. My 68 Dart came with drum brakes, I just don't know what size they are. Everything is at another location so I wasn't going to drive over there if they were for sure a different size. Hopefully I can cannibalize it. Thanks

OOPS, my bad.
I miss read your first posting.
Let me correct my reply.

Your 68 Dart with DRUM brakes will have a Small spindle nut and washer.
Parts off a 73 will not work on the Drum brake Dart.
You need to look for a drum brake A body car at the wrecking yards.

I'm actually putting 73+ spindles on the 68 and don't have the washers and castle nuts. I've got the complete 68 drum setup I was hoping to cannibalize. Either way, you gave me the info I needed. Thanks!

So, will 80's Dodge truck parts fit the 73+ spindles? There are a few Dodge trucks at the yard in town.

I think the 73-6 A body nuts and washers are the same thru F-M and R bodies into the late 80's as they share most of the same other parts.
