All things being equal{car's original 8 1/4 set-up} they should swap over...The backing plates from the 8 1/4 should fit on the passenger car dana tubes...Only factors I'm thinking would be...If you're using donor backing plates just make sure the cable hole size is'nt different...Should'nt be any cable legnth issues if you're not going too wide/narrow or jumping shoe sizes with the dana..
