It was 8.454 by Ron Stayer who was the eventual will of Q16 AND Mopars Against the World driving the Wheatcrafts Landshark gen 3 dragster. However 2 people dropped out and the first 2 alternates made it the second one being an 8.986

1st round of Super Pro I got a Chevy Top Sportsman car..that was dial 7.56. I had a .013 light and dialed a 10.92..and ran a 10.920...He bought back in...and I ran him again in 2nd round. My .032 light to his .076 light...but my support brace for the back of the seat broke on the launch causing me to lift my foot off the gas for a split second...ran a 11.15 on a 10.94 dial...which was plenty for him to drive by me...

Buy Backs are suppose to race buy backs. It's the price you pay for have to buy back in. Just my opinion.

I for one had a good time. Got to visit with people I don't aways race with, and watch some friends find some success.

This is always a good show, that we should support or we won't have it to bittch about.

We had a great time!! even though we put ourselves in the trailers way too soon on Sunday But, our other buddy shows up on Sunday with his original 440 4speed R/T Challenger, that they had been thrashing around all over for three days, throws a number on it, and ends up winning stick class You may remember it as it had an old school cop light, siren, motorcycle strapped to the top and 3 guys inside having a blast It was great to see some Moparts members again and meet some new ones. Also, got to ride in a Hellcat and picked up some stuff at the swap meet. Hope all had a safe trip home. I need to get back to work to just to rest

P.S. FYI The Mega Mopar Action race at Famoso normally in October is now June 27/28 along with Nitro Night Saturday night. Always a good time

was out in vegas on vacation and spent saturday there. I had a good time the show and race was about the size of the early mopar show at national trails.
having the extra pavement to do the Dodge test drive and drifting experience was great!

I will try and make a vacation out of it next year too!

Just want to say Thanks to some generous racers. Our buddy's Demon broke a rocker adjuster so we were shamelessly cruising the pits looking for a T&D adjuster. We had almost given up but these guys pitted on the main road bailed us out with one and we threw it back together so he could make some passes. Thanks Again
