I found a fender for my 73 charger, but it has the chrome piece that bolts to the front of the fender were the bumper is. My 73 charger does not have this piece, the question if i remove the chrome piece will it match the other fender or will i need to find another fender?

we have to make difference on this... one thing is the FILLER what is a rubber piece attached to bumper and the other thing is the molding trim attached to fender what with a minimal and unnapreciable difference between pieces for 71/72 and 73/74 they fit the same on any year

Fillers were just to 73/74 no matter model

Molding trims were standart on SEs and I think optional on the rest.

They fit on same fender, so that trim makes not difference on fender... only diff could it be some holes to attach the trim, what if they are visible, will need to be filled if wished BUT 73/74 bumper fillers should cover those holes, so is not really a problem I think

I don't want the SE trim on the fender, i need it to match the other fender, my car is not an SE model, but if i remove the trim then the holes will be noticable right?

maybe not because bumper filler should cover them...

anyway, is not a big deal... since I guess you have to paint the fender, fill the holes on that moment and done!
