After months of research and much help from members here my 512ci stroker is being built as of today..
The 73 block came back with no shift after sonic checked and magnafluxed...perfect core!!..
Decided against drilling the block for a 1/2 inch oil pickup and will go with the hemi pan instead..Still have not decided on heads or cam but im getting close...
Thanks go out to Cab Burge,, Mr P body,, 383Man, ect for assistance with answering all my stupid questions!!!

Congrats...I am particularly impressed with the performance of these.

For heads, you find it hard pressed to beat the Indy EZ1 heads. I am astonished at the Hp we are making with our ootb heads on our pump gas 512...735hp!

It all comes down to that almighty dollar as far as completion but should be in the 63 Dodge by summer...Pump gas motor with the estimated HP of between 600-650..Plenty enough power to get in trouble with im sure!! If you know a local dyno that you trust Id like to obtain their services..

Finally a HUSKER again
I do know of a traveling dyno, Very accurate, and a very very good guy running it.

Most hes had on it is shy of 2000HP on a diesel, and 1600ish on a twin turbo car.

BEAUTIFUL CAR BTW!!!

Is it gonna be your street cruiser.. I have used
St Clair Engine for their dyno and machine work..
also I dont know if they have their own but Champion
Engine might be another choice.. Champion is down
by 9mile and mound area.. St Clair is over by Armada...
that'll be a good looking ride when done

Street car with occasional track time.. !!
When I first traded for this car my intentions were to just sell it but it has grown on me real fast...And the more research I do on the old super stockers has me more excited to get it back on the road...It came with a narrowed 8 3/4 with Moser axles, a Detroit Locker, and 4.30 Richmond gears, fully braced, super stock springs, and Cal Tracs...Im going to stick with this rear in hopes it will hold up!!
Don't know whos ride this is but it sure looks badazz..

Wow thats one awesome 63 Dodge ! Wonder who owns it ? I dont know how much you plan to race but so far I have raced my 63 six times at the track over the last 4 years and my 8-3/4 is still all stock other then the Detroit Locker I put in it. I just hope it holds up until I can get a Dana. But I plan to atleast put a good set of axles in it for now. As you can see I only race it once or twice a year and I know I am pushing my luck with the 8-3/4 running 10's at 3700 lbs so I am glad its an auto in my car. When I had the axles out a few years ago I was surprised how well they looked and they were not twisted at all. If your car is an auto and you only race once or twice a year you may get away with it for a few times out and yours is beefed up more then mine so your in better shape then i am with mine. I do want to go with a Dana as soon as I can afford one as I know if I blow the rear I will be pulling the trans also to fix the blown overrunning clutch (sprag). Ron

I was ready to pull the trigger on some EZ's but another deal came my way. 550-600 on the street is more than enough IMO And I wanted the stock look.

Can't get enough of '63 330's!

They are very light, fun to drive and not many around. I had a '71 Cuda and actually prefer this car due to its uniqueness and the Superstock history that they have.

You think like me as I could not agree more. I wanted my 63 Sport Fury's body to keep the stock look but added the wheels for the old Superstock look which I love. 600 hp will push these old B-bodies in the 10's which is plenty of fun for me driving on the street. And the attention these 62 to 65 Mopars get is crazy as I really like my old Dart but this car gets so much more attention driving on the street. I even had two cops stop me last summer just to look at the car and ask me how fast it was. Not bragging as my car is by no means as nice as many of them out there but I was just so surprised how many you get driving a 62 to 65 Mopar and I even get older women (60's and 70's) come over and ask me about the car.
Man you are gonna love driving your 63 Dodge 330 as Silver one like yours is gonna look awesome and you will love driving it on the street ! Ron

My 63 is a 440 series car...I don't see a difference between the 330 and the 440..Is it just a trim package or were different drivetrains available..??

Basically a trim package. A 330 couldn't be ordered as a hardtop (post only) and came with things like rubber floor mat. The 330's don't have reverse lights either.

Go on youtube..type in American Muscle Car, Mopar Super Stockers...GREAT episode...If that don't give you the bug to build or own a 62-65 Mopar nothing will..
