Hi folks, looking to do this swap on my car. making way from a small block to a hemi. i have a manual steering box {not sure exactly which one if it matters}. what is all involved with this swap? different pitman and idler arms? steering link and tie rods? steering shafts and coupling? any advice or part numbers? im not really up on this kind of stuff and know there is probably someone on here thats done this swap. thank you for any input!

I went the other way. Everything switches over as far as pitman arm etc. BUT, I sure wouldn't use just any old manual steering box. I would either have it built or check with firmfeel. You're gonna need a power to manual adapter and I just collapsed my steering coulumn to get the proper length. Otherwise you need to find a manual steering column. I had blueprinted mine so there was no way I was going to switch it out. With that big old hemi hanging out there you are not going to like the effort necessary to steer it.
