70RT mopar 7 Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 541	Not necessarily. Round back rotors came with three different amperage ratings: 30, 37 and 46 based on the depth of the windings. Square back rotors also had differing amperage outputs and two different rotor shaft lengths depending on alternator assembly date.
