I wasn't looking for a new project but this found it way to my house. It's a 1973 D200 Camper Special with a 400 and auto transmission.
Can anyone recommend a source for 9.5 X 16.5 Tires.

Thanks in advance,
Ron

Sweet!
What's on the bedside?

Some slide-in campers used triangulation gussets. I suspect that is what is on the bed sides.

On my 75 D200, I just threw out the 16.5's as they are too difficult to find and too expensive to bother with. I used 16" Ford wheels and readily available tires.

Nice find, by the way!

Nice truck! I agree with Eric....ditch the 16.5's and get some 16" wheels, or even some 17" wheels off of a newer 2500.

Ford wheels fit, but GM wheels have a smaller center register, so they won't fit.

Thanks for the suggestions. It's a kinda neat pickup. GVW is 9000 lbs. with several upgrades.
I will look into the different rims.
It has two different tags one showing a factory 8100 GVW and the other one showing 9000

Lose the 16.5s. In case nobody mentioned it.

I want my fair share
