I'm looking at this chrome cap from Year-One.

Will it fit my 72 Duster?

It MIGHT fit but it will be inset into the body lines a bit. BTW, what year Duster? Is it a two prong or four prong?

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

I'll check it when I get home, my eBay sending unit isn't vented so I might just go with the YearOne locking vented chrome cap for $15.99 plus shipping, that's not a bad deal. I remember asking about my sending unit awhile back, I just never got around to picking up a cap.

I'm kinda leaning towards one of the nice flat chrome locking caps that are $50 or more but for now I found this decent looking stock cap brand new at O'Reilley auto parts for $9.

It is suppose to be vented but when I remove it from the car there is an huge gust of air that comes out of the filler tube like there was alot of pressure in there.

Does it look vented to you guys?
