You need to measure full extension of your suspension and ride height and you can measure colasped lenght. This will tell you what you need. The worst thing for racing is topping out the shock.

Gentlemen

What do you guys think about this solution?
Mount a 1/2"-1" lowering block between the spring and shockmount? http://www.manciniracing.com/alpebiallobl.html That would give the shock the 1-1.5" of free travle..

-Yes, it would change the transfer link angle a little steeper -Is that, would that be an issue? Can any one think of any other issue/s with this solution???

PS. Just to let you know. During the years Ive owned the Charger I have "destroyed" one 440 engine, got close to destroying a 426 Hemi, messed up and rebuilt the 727 trans two times, as I write this, its waiting on its 3rd rebuild (In 2013 I bought a CRT trans that seems to hold up)... Burned 3 starters, busted up converter ringgears, droped a muffler on my head and got to wisit the ER with a concussion, had more carburetor fires than I care to remember (tried to run the Hemi on E85 when E85 first came out on the market)...etc...etc.... Its a never ending struggle, I cant seem to win, the car is just posessed. I thought of having a Priest come and sprinkle Holy water on it, but thought better of it, my guess is that the car would just burst into flames....

Sounds about normal for all of us, I think you're doing fine.

We need to start a " DON'T ASK ME HOW I KNOW " tread ....you might make the top ten

I know I have had about 2 of those issues with my car ..

Hello Gentlemen

Made an order for 1" lowering blocks. Gonna mount them between the spring and shockmount to get a little more shock rebound travle..

New question...

The front AFCO DA shocks, how do they fit? The lower mount of the shock is so wide, does it fit the stock lower control arm mount or do you have to do some massaging of the control arm? And what about the little lower adjustment button on the shock, can you get to it easily or?? Does anyone who runs the Afco front shocks have a pic on how they mount to the lower controlarm?

Thanks!
/Tom
