Dad has a friend who has a 83 Imperial with a 318 with fuel injection. Said when it sits in the shop it starts fine. When its cold it wont start. Pull air cleaner off and pour gas in it it will fire up. Told dad I never knew they had fuel injection on them. He said yeah they did like 81-83 Imperials only. Said he remembers Chrysler having issues with them and doing a retro fit to change back to carb. Said he did 4 or 5 back then. He thought there was a cold start valve on them but can't remember where its at on them. Guy wants to leave it as is with injection rather than go to carb. Anyone have any ideas? Dads dealership doesn't have any books back that far and hes the oldest mechanic there(50 years there in a month and half!)
Thanks guys
corey
