Car is being fitted with carbon doors, fenders, and hood. We are also installing a fiberglass dash to reduce more weight. Couldn't get the car below 3420# the way it was. Hate losing the electric windows but I hated losing races even more. We should be around 3150# after the changes. Engine has been destroked by Bennett and will be dynoed in the next week or so. Also changed to a more efficient turbo. Our first race will likely be at Memphis in March!

Good luck with the upgrades. I drooled all over this challenger at No Mercy last year. You planning on making it out to No Mercy again this year?

Yes we do. It depends on a lot of factors. We will either have to weigh 3150# or 3250#! Depends on which turbo we go with. We were 270# heavy at the end of last year. We had the wrong cam in it plus engine was to big for these small turbos. This year it will be a whole new animal. We went 1.11 flat last year. I think we will go as low as 1.06 on a good track with good air. We may go to SGMP this fall. Won't be ready til March. Memphis the Hollysprings for sure.

Will you be willing to tell us what the motor makes? Or even what it made before? I'm really curious as it's truly a one off combo. If you do not wish to share I understand completely. Go kill some people in 2015!!!

It's going on a conservative dyno. We figure it will be around 1800-1850 hp with the 85mm turbo. When it hits the dyno I will let you know. We won't use the dyno to find max power but as a tuning tool. Each track and air quality will play a big part in how much we lean on it. If we run NMCA we will bolt my 94mm on it. Then it will make some serious steam!

Very nice, what did you go with for door hinges,
and the dash is it a replica of the original?

The 17's do a much better job filling up that wheelwell. IMO they look WAY better than the 15's. Awesome piece for sure.
