Which one matters THE most?

The post about your race rituals got me to thinking,and I remember a fellow racer asking me this question years and years ago.....

The first correct answer wins the right to brag that he/she was correct.

Its a closed ended question....there is only one correct answer. If you dont win FIRST ROUND...there will be no other rounds that are important! First round has to always be the most important.

That's too easy...The only round that matters is the NEXT round.

previous rounds are past history
& there won't be any other rounds unless you get the Next one right

I'm way more relaxed after 1st round. And get into my groove.

To me I am more anxious and find it harder in the first
round and then get a little more relaxed after it

Cuz I've never gone rounds, I'm gonna say T&T "rounds".. Thats where I've been learning how to drive the Dak and figure out whats gonna break next before I decide to try and go for the race rounds..

i'm going to take the liberty of saying the twop hardest rounds for me have been the first and the final rounds everything in between has always been easy

Always the 1st round for me, I get the jitters and it feels so good to get past that 1st round. Anything after that is a bonus or I get to go home early.

A couple of years back I really didnt mind losing
in the first round if it was getting late. Back then
if I had a long drive home and had to go to work
in the morning it was ALMOST a relief... mainly
due to backing my rig into the driveway( a pain in
the dark, I almost rolled my trailer once)

Which one matters THE most?

Every single round is THE most important round you will ever run. Try to never fall into the trap of making yourself believe the first or the last round is the most important. If you attack every round as THE most important one,you have already won the hardest part of this game. The mental part.

Mr P......pressure is not the point of the exercise.

It is all about your attitude. You have to have your head in the right place to win. If you convince yourself that the first round is tougher than any other, you will lose the first round every time.

Well I do go into every round with the attitude
that I can win and maybe with a better change than
the other guy, but it still is the first round
butterfly's that cause issue's but I do see
your little excersise thing
