You have to make your own seat brackets for most of the aluminum seats so you can mount them at any angle you want. As far as your plastic seats go, you can just alter the way you have it mounted or just add washers/shims to raise or lower the front and back of the seat mounts.

Like Prosport said it's going to depend on how you mount them.

I and many friends run the Kirkey Pro street seats. Highly recomended, very comfortable.

The car I bought last summer has aluminum seats. The cover has a label that says RCI (Racer Components Inc.). I bought these brackets to re-mount the drivers seat for more leg & head room. They give some angle adjustment.

You need to angle the seat.. set the height to what
you like BUT raise the front of the seat so your upper
leg(thigh) is just resting on the front... tipping the
seat to get that... your way more comfortable.. the
back of the seat is in most cases at 90* to the seat
bottom... I set the seat back so I hit the floor with
the gas pedal... there really is a science in the
way a seat is mounted.. but thats the basics

I have Kirky Pro Street in my Dart and really like them. They're mounted like Mr P described.

We made brackets similar to these pictured for my Kirkeys. I painted the raw aluminum black because I didn't like the look raw.

They are a little heavier than I wanted, but they were machined out of 1" stock. The passenger side ones are 3/4" wide. The brackets from Kirkey sat way too low for me.
