Ok please share your MSD 6013 setup with the new style coils (2 Boots) What the tech dept at MSD is telling me and what the instructions that come with the ignition are telling me are 2 different things I think. This is a carb setup no map sensor please share your setup as far as waste spark on or off and did you cut the brown jumper wire?

For your system, I would assume you are using the 88864 harness.

If this is the case - Waste spark set to off.

Cut the brown loop as your ignition is not the waste spark coil system.

Do not connect the brown / yellow wire - that is for EFI.

What else did you want to know?

Below is a safe start up tune.....just ignore the MAP Chart if you're not running the MAP sensor....

..but to be honest, unless its a 'race only' motor - I would re-consider that decision....25deg total timing at cruise is a little light on ...even for these motors......

67 RO23 clone with 6.1 SRT Hemi and dual quads. Soon to have Drag Pak induction and Throttle body.

Thanks from down under that is how I thought it should be but I have it this way now and it doesn't start and I get coil fault codes I think I screwed it up starting it without setting it up first I never hooked the computer to it but it cranked right up I had my wife bump the starter and it fired I can't believe it ran for 10 minutes I shut it off setup the ignition ie turned waste spark off and set the timing curve and now it won't run I am going to check to make sure none of the wiring came apart other wise I guess I will order a new set of coils and a box and try them one at a time till it runs I will dig back into it this weekend

One thing I do see is your timing curve at 0 RPM is at 14 degrees or so I cannot seem to get a dot at the 0 rpm mark with timing anywhere my curve starts at 0 rpm 0 timing and at 200 rpm goes to 12 degrees how do you get a point at the zero rpm mark where you want it?

The tune I posted is just a start up tune someone suggested - its not ideal but it is safe.

Try deleting one of yor other dots first, then adding one at the zero axis

FWIW - it shouldnt matter how many times you've turned the motor over - the ECU automatically detects which cylinder is in the firing position.

Are you sure you uploaded your tune from your laptop to the ECU with the ignition ON?

Have to say it sounds more like an earth issue than anything else......
