I was trying to stay with the "two pin plug" non-locking units. I think those were only '90-91. Maybe that why they wanted $450.

But, guess I'll see what I can find in the '92-95 range (three pin plug, locking). I really didn't want to mess with the electric controlled lock-up but I may just have to deal with it.

you dont have to activate the lockup on the 3 pin ---and the lockup is only saving 300 rpm and they even have built in slipage...

But if you use a Non lockup you can use a 727 converter
