Cab , had the same question . Answer is to use the correct idler to match the k frame . No other issues . I will be doing this in a 64 or 65

use the later k and corresponding idler then use 11/16 tie rods and adjuster sleeves from a c body.

just get the 68-70 idler and everything else swaps over.
