Has anyone purchased Glass from AMD?
I'm thinking about the E-Body door glass.

I saw some of the AMD glass at carlisle and if your car is a driver it would be ok. I got some quarter glass from OEM Glass and it was the same poor quality (china)that is sold by AMD but cheaper price. The edges on the re-po glass is too wavey IMHO. You may want to check with ECS if you need GOOD quality glass....better quality BUT more $$$$$

That's what I was worried about.
I need E-Body Convert glass, and ECS's supplier cannot/will not commit to any delivery schedule for door glass.
I need passenger side, they only have drivers side.

This has been a problem for some time, but the stuff you are talking about doesn't come from China....

Yes, the side glass is different for a convert from a hardtop.
The door glass will have a corner to it at the top of the A-post where it meets the top.
A hardtop is rounded there.

The quarter glass is different too.

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

AMD has E Body Convertible glass in stock. We have installed a couple of AMD Cuda and Challnger back windows with no issues. The clear glass is nice and clear and the tinted glass has a nice even shade with no dark and light areas like the OEM/aftermarket glass that I have sold in the past and got LOTS of negative feedback on.

The front and rear glass is usally ok but the problems are the side glass pieces and if you look carefully at the edges you will see the problems with reproduction glass. A simple side by side comparison to your original glass will reveal the warped edges and incorrect contours on many pieces of E-Body side glass from many venders. Talk to ECS about the problems they had with glass. The AMD glass I have seen had the same wavey/ warped edges but if your car is just a driver that may be good enough .

Thanks I did not know that. I need to change the passenger door out in my 70 challenger vert. I guess I will swap the old glass from one door to the other.

How do I contact ESC? I have seen the ads for AMD glass. I need a set for my 70 Challenger HT.
