The purpose of this "member projects" area of the board is to post the stories behind just that, member projects! These typically last much longer then 30 days that was the case with this 'Cuda thread. It is very cool to read about it as a member works to complete their project. IMHO, it would have been great to see that done with this 'Cuda. Hopefully the next owner will hold on to the car for a while and share the ownership/restoration experience with us.

I agree, I've done the same thing myself, not by plan but simply because I bought a car that was close to what I wanted but not exactly, I bought it thinking I wouldn't find one better, and then along comes the exact car I wanted and poof! Time to sell the first one. Sometimes the timing is rather close, sometimes not, but it happens.
Good job Des!
I have done the same a couple of times, too.
I just bought a ER6 red 1970 SFGT but really want an EB7 blue one. I will fix the red one and get it on the road but as soon as there is the right EB7 one out there I am going to let my red go.
Everything is good Desmond
