I usually don't go in for automatics but something appealed to my "dust and rat crap" side with this one. I never got a chance to thank the member who threw this one up in the WIW section cuz the thread disappeared. Anyways, a new friend in Nebraska is currently flushing the dead fluids and I am gathering parts. Original engine, trans, rear, heck its even still wearing its original exhaust. I love B7 blue and its a rarity on a '70.
I'll add pictures as Tracy, the king of Waking Dead Mopars, stirs this slumbering beast from her dirt nap.

Really cool Y09 Export car....i have a '69 340 4speed 'cuda package (A56) fastback that is also Y09!!!!
Rarely see Y09 cars!!!
I'm the CARETAKER of Weinstats '69 440 'cuda registry and have 104 of the 360 cars to date. 84 fastbacks/20 coupes. Always looking for new(REAL M-code) '69 440 'cudas to add to the registry so drop me a note if any are found or known. This isn't a publicly released registry. Thanks, Dave

The purpose of this "member projects" area of the board is to post the stories behind just that, member projects! These typically last much longer then 30 days that was the case with this 'Cuda thread. It is very cool to read about it as a member works to complete their project. IMHO, it would have been great to see that done with this 'Cuda. Hopefully the next owner will hold on to the car for a while and share the ownership/restoration experience with us.

I agree, I've done the same thing myself, not by plan but simply because I bought a car that was close to what I wanted but not exactly, I bought it thinking I wouldn't find one better, and then along comes the exact car I wanted and poof! Time to sell the first one. Sometimes the timing is rather close, sometimes not, but it happens.
Good job Des!
I have done the same a couple of times, too.
I just bought a ER6 red 1970 SFGT but really want an EB7 blue one. I will fix the red one and get it on the road but as soon as there is the right EB7 one out there I am going to let my red go.
Everything is good Desmond
