Thought I would show some pics of some cars I went and looked at semi close to me. Cold and colder yet today, but I have been couped up. Some of these are for sale. The 56 Savoy is not, but I am working on him as I want a 56. The 50 Chrysler is actually very cool and all there. Its owned by a friend but is for sale. It has a straight 8 in it. I am actually thinking of buying it(don’t know why) or maybe the 42 Studebaker couple. He also has a 23 or 24 Studebaker roadster that pictured. He says its all there but I cant tell. The COE(RON) is alos for sale and I am trying to get a price. Its owner lives off site. It’s a total project, but its cool. A 38 he said. There were some chebbies an d ferd, but I thought I would stick to the mopar and stude stuff. I want the long rams manifolds, but he wants a ton for them and the 392 hemis, not pictured are not for sale. Lots of log manifolds for those as well. Dave He says it’s a 42 Studebaker coupe. 50 chrysler 2 dr. long and kind of cool.

Very cool find Dave I like the COE and the 39 dodge coupe and the study coupe. the last COE's that I picked up cost me $800 and $1500. for the complete bodys I think the coe is 40-47 grab it if you can, dodge COE's are hard to come by. Ron...

Ron, I talked to the guy tonight. I will talk with him again tomorrow. Hes hot after a 392 HEMI composit block I have for mocking up motors into cars. I will see what I can do about getting the cab.
If I were to grab it, whats thebest platform for it? A cummins platform? and if so, I am guessing unlike the chevy counterpart, it can not be mocked up using a truck to extend the cab? I recall that the chevy cab be mated with a chevy truck to lenghten the cab. I believe that the Dodge can not and thus, thats why we see the sleeper sections attached to them?
If I get one, I want it to be a driver and will use it to haul the 38 or what ever other Rods I end up with. But I would need some room as this cab is small as compared to the chevy cab I still know of thats sitting out there. Not much room in it.
do you lower/ drop the floor for leg room or what your advise?
Dave

Man, that 50 Chrysler is sweet.
Wish I had room, time and money for another project.
They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Don't be the exception.
