first, i know it's more of a street than strip car, but i do plan to make some passes and most of the moparts member i know i have met thur my bracket racing (cc events) so mods please leave it in the unlawful section! well it's hard for me to beleive i bought this car in 2001, but with the racing and doing the other dart, i kept pretty busy. anyway i took it to the paint guy about 2 weeks ago and brought it home today. now starts the plug and play process and thanks to the economy it may take a couple more yrs to finish it. this is to update the folks i met that thought i was smoking something over these last 7 yrs as i talked about this car but it wasn't coming along very fast lol. hemi fred i know you said clones are for sissy's so i be the best i can lol. this is about 5 yrs ago dave

Awesome car !! Great project. I have always loved the Darts. My first car was supposed to be a 68 Dart, but the deal never happened. The owner thought I was a punk kid who wanted to trash his car. He was half right !! Nice . What are some other details ??

thought about b5 blue but alot of clones are that color. that's also why i went with the off red, alot of real and clone cars that are blood red. i wanted something just a bit different. that's also why i'm doing the 68 yr theme instead of a current spec type race car. looked for yrs at cc events,carlise and other venues and all i could find was updated race cars. spent alot of money on the bag for 68 to 70 car rags so i could see how they were back in the day

was on the car when I got it about 10-12 years ago. I was going to give them Bob (prosport) He need a set of rear shocks LOL

thanks bill h! the wheels were a real catch on the paint color. on some cars with torq thrusts the wheels seem to melt into the paint job and disapear with no real effect to the look of the car (my opinion) and in all the hemi dart pics i've procured doing this project, only about 5 cars ran tqs, most used steelies, cragers or keystones. the paint is a ford color that the wife spied on a late 90s mustang with the ford tq copies
