Who makes headers that'll fit a 65 Coronet 440 with a 440RB in it? Hedman says their header fits this car, but reviews on summit say no. Are stock manifolds available?

There should be lots of choices on headers for those cars, 1962 to 1965 B bodys If your wanting maximimun vusual impact when oepning the hood the original M.W. exhaust manifolds make most people say WTF , Where did you get them Maybe another member will post a picture of a car with them on it. BTW,I'm a dealer for TTI, PM me if you want a quote on a set of really nice, not cheapo, headers

A lot of guys nowadays swap in a 66-70 K member and use headers that are 66-up. It has its advantages and disadvantages. Good headers are available, but they often aren't marketed well.

What's the difference between the 440 and 500 models? Mine is a 440.

Hedman 78030 fit like a glove. I even used stock manifold studs with mine. Stock K frame, mounts and insulators with 440 engine.

That's the number I was looking at, did you have to use a small starter?

I did and never checked the big starter.

Once you use a mini you'll never go back...

A friend of mine has these on his 65 440 with an RB engine. Fit and look very good!

I had Hedman Elite 1-3/4 tube headers on my old 440 in my 63 Plymouth and they fit great which your 65 will use the same headers. Now I have 2" TTI's on this eng and they also fit great. As was said there are many headers that will fit your car and fit good. Ron

Thanks everyone, I ordered the Hedman headers. I plan to get it running and sell it so I can finish another project... so I need to keep the costs down.
