72N96RR OP I LOVE WEDGIES Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 11,632 SHELBY TWP,,MICHIGAN	I hear you can run a 15x 10 inch rim on the rear of a 72 road runner with 5 1/2 inch backspace but then a 275-60/15 tire is the best choice...Anyone have pics or experience with this size?? Sixgun top fuel Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,607 Western Washington	My next set will be a BFG silvertown 285/70 15 -around 30" tall.About 200 each from summit. I looked at the 295/50s and found them too short looking for the big "B" wells. IMHO

D_C pro stock Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,373 Rancho Cucamonga, CA	'71 Charger, M/T ET Street P315-60-R15 DragRadials. In fitting bigger tires, the first problem I encountered was the Leaf Springs. The Wheel Wells were large enough to support wider, but the wheels/tires would hit the springs. Offset spring hangers might gain enough extra clearance. To solve it on mine, the Leaf Springs were relocated into the Frame Rails and the Dana 60 was slightly narrowed, but the Wheel Wells are unaltered. I did need to roll-in the inner fender lip a bit at the top of the arch in the opening. 8372670-image.jpg (147 downloads)
