Starting a new thread on what oiling modifications it will take to make a Gen 3 survive road racing and track days. I am going to be using an Accusump oil accumulator 35-40 psi electric valve, -12AN lines to a remote mount filter, air/oil separator etc. I also found a Hamburger's oil filter adapter 3320 that has -12AN ports. It is expensive but I am a sucker for billet aluminum http://www.hamburgersperformance.com/SPIN-ON-Bypass-AdaptersIf you have anymore suggestions please post here Just wanted to separate this from the Schumacher mount thread

Im still not convinced a 10AN is a restriction. The block is the restriction, I just made the circuit longer is all.
Mopar to the bone!!!

Mine: -10 AN Oil cooler Remote oil filter Accusump
They run hot. You'll want an oil cooler.
I log my oil pressures. Don't think the pump has ever ran low on pressure and required the accusump (street tires). I wouldn't run without it though. We'll see with different tires.

Yeah, kind of skeptical about it but, I'm going to try it out and see if it performs.
I might have made a mistake on the Hamburger part number. The one with 22mm threads is part number 3323
I'm not 100% sure what threads a Gen 3 uses
I've used Nascar take off's before, cheap to buy usually get a bunch of fittings/hoses with it to? FYI ...12AN female fittings will screw on to common laundry tub taps to flush with hot water for cleaning. E-Bay search Nascar oil filter and lots come up. I've used Canton oil filter block adapters too, worked great!

I think 09+ are 22mm metric, 08 and down are 3/4-16 just like old Mopars.

I am looking at Setrab oil coolers just not sure what size to get? They make a Series 1 cooler with up to 72 rows but I kind of doubt I need one that big. http://www.setrabusa.com/products/oilcoolers/engine/index.html
I have a big 33x19 inch Be Cool radiator and I am unsure of what my oil temps are at? I may run a track day without an oil cooler just to get an idea of oil temps and see if they hover around 290F*
I found this 215F* oil thermostat from Improved Racing that looks functional as well.
http://www.improvedracing.com/thermostat...434.html?sort=0 Need to make sure all the water boils out of the oil

That's cool! You got the 215F* right?! Improved racing said that the restriction wouldn't be a problem but nevertheless the Accusump will take care of that

Mine is the first version, and I cant remember the exact temp but I know it is at least 200*. I have been meaning to call them about maybe swapping my old version for the new hi-flow.

This adapter is part number 3320 with 3/4-16" threads. I had to make sure sure with Arrow Racing first of what they were using for my engine. If you have an engine with 22mm oil filter threads the part number is 3323

Don't commit to any fittings until you get it in the car and all mocked to check clearances IMO.
I agree completely. This is why I like to use the XRP ProPLUS Race Crimp stuff because you can mock things up with inexpensive clear PVC tubing before buying the exact hose you need and cut down on waste.
Aeroquip is good stuff as well and a good tip from them is to not mix and match fittings from other manufacturers (Earl's, Aeroquip, XRP etc.) Staying consistent with one fitting manufacturer yields less leaks.

When I did my plumbing, Aeroquip was the only brand that had a 90* male 10an O-ring swivel fitting under $50 EACH. I don't have room to use a straight 10an o-ring at the adapter and regular 10an to 10an 90* hose fitting. If these leak I will have to raise the engine to get them off.... <<<<NOT!
Mopar to the bone!!!
