IIRC there are little to no production records on trucks....

No SE until 1971. 440 wasn't an option, maybe it was special ordered but proving it would be easy, what does the door jam tag indicate?

I believe the 383-2 was classified as an HP in a pickup in some years.

77? That's different, someone will have the number. I am just guessing it is around the 2500 mark.

I don't remember if my 1977 W-200 was trimmed out as an Adventurer SE or not...too many years ago I know it did not have A/C. I still have pictures of it...I need to buy a scanner.
I do remember that it had the 440 and I had the carb massaged by a place in Costa Mesa, CA shortly after I bought it new. I put a lift kit in it and it did not like it...it spit the front driveshaft out because I did not compensate for pinion angle...but who knew back then??

Pictures would be a big help too....

Any production numbers you find will only be estimates. Records of truck production weren't kept according to Chrysler Historical. I contacted them a couple years ago about my truck. Being the first year combo of crew cab and a dually, and equipped as an Adventurer SE with a 440, the production numbers have to be low. The response I got was something like "sorry, no numbers, nice truck."

I know this truck from when the previous owner had it. You got a real deal on that truck if you are the one that bought it from him. There is not true production numbers that I have found on these trucks but 1976 there were 121, 1978 there were 74, so I would guess it is some where in those numbers 75-125 produced. As far as value the truck market is tough. Trucks really don't bring what they should but if the truck is in the same condition as it used to be I'd say 13-15,000 and I know you paid less because the previous owner wanted to make room for another vehicle and let it go cheap. Here is a couple of pics of the truck before you got it.

Hope this helps you

That's a nice one. Like Larry said, he only sold to make room in the garage, and sold it too cheap IMO.

The Lil Red wheels were put on a year or so before it sold. I had heard the next owner was supposed to have put some kind of crate engine in it for what reason I have no idea. It does have a a518 in it. Truck was from PA. Was used as a truck for a while then restored. It is a nice truck. I guess the 520 stroker adds some value but I have no idea what.
