I just saw that Speed Ventures is hosting a couple of track days at CotA! http://www.speedventures.com/events/eventdetail.aspx?id=514April 25-26th, 2015 I would have to take a bunch of days off to make this and that is only if my engine swap goes as planned The logistics to convoy all the way out to Texas is another story... Never say never though! It would be so awesome to make it Anyone else going to go?

That's BBORR weekend for me. Are you open to another weekend? Is speed ventures special? I am unfamiliar with them.

Speed Ventures is a Southern California Group. I guess they are able to schedule CotA for next year. Going to Texas is a long shot for me just because of work schedules so I'm not sure but planning this early helps

There are a few other groups that run CotA, so you have options. Edge adventures is the preferred vendor (December and March dates). The drivers edge also runs there (December). The BMW club had a march date in 2014- they'll probably have one in 2015 as well.
I'll do my best to make it out when you go. Let me know. We could also rent TWS on a weekday while you're down, if you're interested.
I'm signed up for TWS jan24-25 with TDE. Will probably also do BBORR, and was looking at the March COTA date.

Don't know if my car would be ready for that much of a beating by April, more than likely not. Definitely on the bucket list. A few of the Viper guys I ran with go there a couple times a year too.
