Ask Mancini, he likely did it in house. Pete Bloathner did mine (although I think he stopped doing them).

I'm not sure if he still does it, but Resto Rick does them. A work of art.

I did my own and it came out pretty good. The key is to start with a good core (i.e., not severely pitted). I picked up 5 gallon bucket of evapo rust and some PVC tube. Capped one end of the tube, put the drive shaft in along with the evaporust and let it sit for a while. Came out looking like new. Coated it with RPM.

If you have significant pitting, then you will need to have it polished. Pics below are as pulled from the car, pulled from evaporust, and after clean up (pre-polishing).

I prepped mine the same way, degreased it with the steam cleaner first, soaked it in a tube of Evaporust for a couple days (one gallon filled the 4.00" PVC tube when shaft was inside, submerging it completely is important to avoid a "water line"). Mine was pretty nice but the surface was a bit grainy so I sent it to Pete to do the final polish and detailing.

It's been a while, but I think I just used steel wool to get it where it was in that pic. A lot of the discoloration in the evaporust pic came off pretty easy with a steel wool rub and water rinse.

I also did the same thing for the drive shaft to my Charger.

I used a torch to apply a little heat to the original welds. Doesn't take much to get the bluing back.

Mine still had the bluing after the Evaporust (as most will). They key is to NOT media blast it first,

Good cleaning, then evaporust dunk. After that, another good cleaning. Then off to Inland Empire Driveline (Ontario CA) to get checked & balanced. Then a couple coats of Seymour Stainless Steel paint to preserve.
