1979 unmolested 2 owner, the 2nd owner got it in 2013 and has known the original owner since it was bought new. 42000 miles, stored over 10 years ago, runs, no rust, all the original parts are there, motor/trans, carb, the wood panels and complete exhaust including the cats are in the bed!
Towed with the 77 SE over 600 miles, and it pulled like a new truck, but we didn't pass any gas station's, getting 9 MPG's HA!

Quick question. Was Suregrip an Option or Standard for the LRE? Im sure I read on here before it was an option but was told it was standard this evening. I'm sure he's a member on here to but He says I was Told wrong. I distinkly rember being surprised when whoever it was said it was an option. I figured it would be std since it was a "Hot Rod Truck". Sorry for the hijack.

Antispin/suregrip was not at all standard in the lil reds. I put an antispin in a friends 79 because he requested it. Most I've seen were open diffs.

He also claims 3.5 and 4.1 diff's were all suregrip rears. I have numerous trucks that say otherwise

Might do a little better if you didn't have that "brick wall" on the front of your trailer.

yes, its a big air dam, I normally use the trailer to tow my Dart to the track, it protects the front from road debris.
