Just farting in the wind until you check/replace the orange box for one thing.
I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!

while I've never had an orange box go bad, when they do they seem to start breaking up around 3000rpm or so. So if the car runs and then falls off at 3k then that could be it. Easy enough to figure out. run up to Advance and get a $19.99 box and give it a try.

Talked to Hughes last week...see what TC they recommend and they concur on the 2500 he has in there now...if possible...guy said to degree the cam and see where it lands.
Put her into 2nd gear and floor it and see what RPM it flashes to. I dont have a tach like that...I have a digital on the back of my broken SnapOn timing Light I can use but its going to be all over the place.
Only other thing the guy said was to get rid of the Dominator manifold because the plenum is too large for such a small cam. I have a Low Rise Performer Dual Plane sitting on my shelf....so we can test and eliminate that variable first...
Beyond that...its winter...so this will become a spring time mission as his car is in a car port and not a garage
