Anybody know the o.d. of upper a arm bushings for a 64 Polara. I,m having trouble pressing them in. They seem to be about 3/16" larger than the opening. Need some advice,or tricks of the trade.

I put mine in the freezer over night and then lube em up and they go in a lot easy-er

may double check to make sure they are the right part #

I freeze the lower ball joint before knocking them in also

[ quote]wrong ones They came in a kit from PST,also had a set of older perfect circle ones that were the same size. checked with local NAPA theirs were the same. does anybody know the correct measurement or part number. Is 64 polara same as other 62-65 B bodies?

I do not have a part #/measurement for you as I do not know B bodies & I am just going by the 3/16" dimentional difference that you have which is way too much for the freezing/heating trick to work

You got that right, got to looking for the old ones this morning, and thought you big dummy there still in there. You can't beleve how much better the new ones fit after i got all of the old ones out. Ailgnment shop had done that part for me before,so i'd never seen a control arm with the bushings out. Never get to old to learn.
