In my 70 Satellite, I found a yellow wire running down my steering column and it exits under the dash. I was told that it was for my ignition switch light. I cannot seem to find where it plugs in under the dash? Wiring diagram was not much help to me. It does not show it. I do not see any other wires where it would plug in? Would anyone know where it needs to go?

Also, Just under my dash, in front of the floor mounted console I have a grey connector. That connector has two red wires going to it also a yellow wire and an additional yellow wire with a black tracer. Everything seems to work in my car but I am trying to figure out what it could be for? Could it be an "open door buzzer" that plugs into it? Picture attached is of they grey connector in question...sorry it is not real clear.

THE CONNECTOR LOOKS LIKE IT IS FOR THE DIODE PART FOR THE KEY IN IGN. BUZZER OPTION.

YELLOW WIRE IS FOR THE TIME DELAY OPTION OF THE ING. SWITCH LIGHT.

My "key in the ignition buzzer" happens to work, so Im not sure what that is for?

Concerning the yellow ignition delay light wire, any ideas where that plugs into? Picture attached is what I am looking at under my dash of the yellow wire coming down the column...

I dident want to get everyone confused with this but there is one more plug connector under my dash and you can see it in this picture as well. It has a flat white connector, purple, tan and a light green wire??....

If anyone knows what that is for, please chime in! Thanks guys!

that connector is for the cornering lights- C body stuff- someone has changed out the turn signal switch for a C body one- works but it has the extra harness!

Interesting! Thanks....Someone else said it was most likely a plug for cars equipped with cruise control (which mine is not). ANy idea where the yellow wire connects for the ignition light? And any idea what the other harness is for? Appreciate the reply!
