Thanks Ted, I sure would not mind to use a set of the Isky's with the hardned pad. If we don't find anything I am sure we will use the HS. Just thought maybe somebody had some experience with some of the others but they must not be on here. I wonder who they do sell them to or maybe they don't sell any of them. It's just like all things I am sure Oliver rods are better than what we used but would just be total over kill. You can't build every engine with the absolute best part made.

Another beauty. You ask for advice but you really just want someone to tell you that those piece of crap rockers will last on your motor. You can run what you want it's your money. At least when they split in half and dump a bunch of rollers down your heads we can have this post to refer back to.

I ran Proforms for years on a mild 440 with about 500 lift. never had a problem. Sold them to my brother and he has been running them for years with no problems. I would run them again on a mild build and not think twice about buying them again.

Please explain YEARS ??? you make it sound like the rockers are 2 decades old ...

Also how many miles in all those YEARS ???

I think he just wants to see if anyone has any experience with the less expensive one. Anyone have any? Have you had the cheap ones fail? Have you ever seen a set of the proforms fail on a mild build. Maybe you have but maybe some detail would be great rather then . Junk crap dont waste your money. I have also been running a procomp fuel pump and distributor for over five years with no problems. I must just be lucky to run these junk parts and not have any issues. Lets hear about some real world experience with this junk stuff.

Thank you dragram very well said.Very few here know me but some do and don't regard me as some novice. With age my work has kind of moved from all out race to street cars. I do a lot of muscle car and hot rod work now. A two hundred mile sunday cruise is nothing for us. I find myself a little out of my feild when it comes to parts that will do what I want in this kind of enviroment and not break the bank of my customers. The way this has gone I am surprized I didn't get jump all over for my choice of head. I bought two sets and will have some flow results soon. Right now I think the PRW steels are going to get tried. Thanks again.

I've been running the Crane ductile iron rockers with 365# of open pressure(Hughes 1107 spring) without any problems.
