In 1964 did mopar use a spin on spin off oil filter?

I believe yes & that the 90 deg adapter was required with the rearward extended length of the 68-70 340 HP pass side ex manifold. Non HP's (& some HP's)used manis that had a center outlet that pointed straight down
live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth

In '64 both the spin-on and cartridge-type were used on the 318, the right angle adapter was 273 only.
