Have a rather large friend who just acquired a 1952 Dodge B3 pick up. I'm not sure if that's totally correct model number, but that's what he says it is. He is having trouble getting behind the steering wheel and wanted to know what route to take to fix this. He wants to add power steering and probably tilt to it as well. Do they make bolt in applications, conversion kits, some late model parts swap, or a shop that can do this for him? He lives in the Port Huron, MI area, it's about an hour north of Detroit. He wants to keep it close to home since he will have to drive it there and it has a few bugs so he doesn't want to make a long trip. He would like any and all options available to him. I don't know specifics, just ran into him and he asked me if I knew of anyone.

i think the old truck will be running a rear steer box that will cause more than a 2 hour delay when putting in new front steer components and a new steering column---there will be a new hole through the firewall and the dash may have to notched for the column-----i would plan on an average shop spending a week on it----but then a backyard ratrod outfit might be able to punch it out in 4 hours because those guys have been through the 12 step program enough times to know that 2 steps work best if you tear the bandage off......

Considering the original column is part of the steering box, I wouldn't expect a quick, easy, or cheap fix.
If he is contemplating removing the beam axle and going to an independent front suspension at some point, swapping the column then would be a good plan. Gene
