And why?? How many of you knew that the rear window plug filler plates are not mirror images of each other. I never put the 2 side by side to compare until just recent. I would have bet they would be of the same shape and size but just reversed. Does any one know why these were made this way?. And I checked a couple of sets, and they all check out the same.

The wingcar parts are just horrible after all the tooling off many original parts over the years that I've done to reproduce wingcar parts, it's amazing the sloppiness these car's parts and vehicle construction have/had...

If I were you I would not EVEN put those mismatched things on my car. You need to throw those away. Just let me know when you do so I can go dumpster diving at your house.

Chrysler needed to build the # required by NASCAR so Richard Petty could race one, they just wanted them built and gone to dealers, I restored one years ago it was a major ordeal, the factory/creative industries, seriously lacked on quality

A couple of years ago I was in Van Nuys for their annual Spring Fling. It was Friday night and many had gathered at Bobs Big Boy. A guy there had a 70 Plymouth in black. I couldn't tell if it was an actual SuperBird or a clone but that car was CLEAN! It looked like it was built with great attention to detail. Those parts above were not on the car. The seams around the rear window and dutchman panel were filled. The nose cone fit perfectly. All the panel gaps were even. NO vinyl top. Very nice car. Too bad it was not in the car show. It would have scored quite well.
