Is there a person restoring the blue color on these knobs?
Does anyone know the correct color Blue to apply myself?
I got a Mint Wiper knob off Ebay but it makes my Headlight Knob look even worse.
Thanks Ron

Model paint here, it’s been a few years now, fairly sure it was Pactra flat Insignia Blue XF-8. Take your wiper knob to a hobby shop, should find something close.

Ron, here's what I've been using for years. Testor's Model Master Grabber Blue. I clean them thouroughly with a toothbrush and plastic cleaner. Then I put on my magnifying visor cuz I can't see that close to things, and I paint the areas with a very fine pointed brush. Two coats. Then I use PPG DX-330 on pointed Q-tips from Christmas Tree Shop to clean up the edges. DO NOT USE LAQUER THINNER. It will melt the plastic. The paint dries overnight and it will be a little on the shiny side so the next day I spray Testor's Clear dullcoat over the blue to knock down the shine and give it a little more durability. Again, I clean the surrounding areas with the pointed Q-Tips and DX-330 and you're done.

Here's my secrect color for the yellowed lines on the speedometer and tach. Sharpie Neon pen in Orange. I throw on my magnifying glasses and slowly draw over the top of the yellowed lines. Two or three times allowing a couple hours in between coats. The color is bang on perfect to the Orange/Melon color it originally was. I used a bunch of junk 120 Rallye speedos and an NOS unit to find the color that matches perfect. Now everyone can freshen up their 71-74 B Body Rallye gauges for hardly any money. Just time.

After reading all this and realizing that the "red lines" were Orange originally I took the cluster apart today and refaced the speedo to match the tach.

The woodgrain on EL571's dash looks SO nice. is there something out there you used that can bring this darker look back to a faded woodgrain? Mine is nice but it just has that somewhat light faded look to it. I would love to get that darker look on it and the piece that goes across the dash with the stratovents in it.

Here's a photo of my dash bezel (the one from the above photos) the day I pulled it from an early production 1971 Charger parts car. Perfect shape, just faded. I brought it to work and scrubbed in a deep sink with Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner (my favorate)and a soft toothbrush. The color was great but that white fade from time just wouldn't go away. Well, I figured at some point I'm gonna send a couple of these out for stripping and rechroming anyways so I'll experiment with it. I gave it two even coats of Eastwood's Diamond Clear for Bare metal. I know what yur gonna say...why not use the one for painted surfaces? I didn't have any on hand and I sprayed a small area on the back of another dash bezel to see if it would have a bad reaction and it did not. So I went with it. It smells like hell but dries in a day and gives a nice sheen and a protective layer. I detailed the silver after this paint. Whatever kind of factory brown paint is on the bezel (laquer?) seems to agree with the bare metal clear. I've sprayed it on other painted pieces and it reacted terrible. Instant krinkle finish. lol

The paint gives a semi-gloss sheen to the bezel.

My silver areas are already painted do you think the bare metal would make that krinkle?

That's what I was afraid of when painting mine so I waited until it was good and dry (a couple days) then I painted the silver last. If you know what silver paint was used to paint the details on your bezel, just paint something else with it, wait till it's good and dry and then spray the Eastwood Bare metal clear over that and see what happens. If nothing happens, then I would spray the whole thing. Testing the clear over that silver first would be the key. Oh yeah, one more thing, the low gloss black areas on my bezel are Original Paint. I used 3M Blue tape and taped those areas off before clear coating the entire bezel. I did not tape off the Wiper/Washer, Headlight or Red brake warning lenses. The clear coat had no effect on them.
