Having a good reputable shop build one for you will turn out much better then any crate engine.

I agree, we just didn't want the wait, but oh well... Patience is a virtue, right? We're hoping to hear from Dennis later this week, so I'll keep you guys updated along the way.

I can't help but think that if I didn't already have this big block on my hands, I may have had a crack at it myself, but it's been a long, painstaking process to put this thing together on my own as it is... I'm still learning (the engine I'm referring to is a 400-to-512 stroker for my Barracuda and this is my very first build).
