Do anyone know if the rear lower motor mount bolt hole goes through the cooling system on the 5.9 engines? I've notice a small drip that runs along the pan rail, thought maybe a freeze plug but that seems dry.I took the bolt out of the rear engine mount and notice the hole inside of the block looks wet. Any ideal what this may be? The truck in ? is a 95 Ram with the 5.9,auto,1500 ram. ............Thax.

No, non of the motor mount bolts go into the cooling system.

none go through to water.

but the block could very well have cracked in that bolt hole. water is on the other side of the block wall.

look at the parting line for head gasket leaking.

Or maybe someone jammed in a too-long bolt?

Don't think it was the bolt, it looks to be a stock bolt, I will say that the moister that I'm seeing is not antifreeze but some sort of condensation it's weird

I found the same issue with my 99 ram when I bought it. It was the left front intake bolt that was the problem. Antifreeze was running down the front and back the pan rail and I'd see it on the mount as well. Never seen it run down the front but when I repaired the lower intake gasket I discovered the bold broken and haven't seen anything since the intake repair so I assume it is connected.
