How does the valve positioning change in aftermarket heads compared to afactory head? I have been told that the Indy heads have the exhaust valve moved across, but what about W8 & W9?

Yes, about .120" or so IIRC, intakes are also moved the same direction .060"

I believe the book How to big inch a small block Moparts gives you the spacing on most of the different casting available. Matt
