Looking at a 70 Duster 340. It is coded with V8X for the rear tail light surround tape treatment. It has a V5X as well. How do the side moldings work on A-bodies? I only know E-bodies and they had a little stud coming off the body to hold a clip that held the molding. Is that what A-bodies used or did they use an adhesive side molding? There is no evidence of the studs on the side of the car but the build sheet says V5X. Thanks!

Okay, so there is no problem that the little studs are not present. Thanks!

On '70 Mopars I think they were adhesive as Scott said(except Challengers?) and then in '71 they went to mounting studs.

Nope, I have had a couple of V5X challengers and they have the studs.

Thanks for the help!
