9 - this car a 440-6 was totaled in a wreck with a Vette - it got T-boned on the passenger side one night around 1983. The passenger had to have his spleen removed after the wreck, I took pics of this car in 1982 in Ludington, MI. Could have bought it for $3500.00 but I couldn't swing it.

11 - driving in Los Angeles December 1981 - I was there on vacation for a week - there were a lot of 1970 GTX's on the road (this one obviously a '71). Most of them driven by middle-aged ladies - I probably saw a dozen of them that week. Where did they all go? None of the cars were rusted either - I was drooling all week!

12 - my Hemi Charger - yes it's dead. Burned-up in a fire at a HUGE storage building with 100+ other rare cars back in Aug. 1984. I miss it so much. Automatic, PS, PB, PW, AM/FM Stereo, 3:55. Brown bucket interior. 86,000 miles - I was the second owner.

Me & my '72 Mach 1 in 1984 - I bought this at some B Lot dealer in Phoenix for $2100.00. All original paint except the doors had been repainted for some odd reason??

More gearhead photos..yep this one is a Vanishing Point 440-4 car & it's a 4-speed to boot - a car from my old neighborhood taken in my parents' driveway. My rusty '69 Coronet R/T is in the background. I was cruising down the highway at 70 MPH in the Coronet one day when the rear U-joint blowed-up. I thought the trans 'sploded but it was the U-joint. Drive shaft stayed in place & I was able to unscrew all 4 of the sheared-off little bolts in the yoke & install a new U-joint the next day.

Another fine pic from the past..in a parking lot somewhere in Houston, TX. area. My brother was living in Houston in 1983 so I visited for a few days. Looking for rust-free TX. cars!
