Can anyone tell if 4 speed rods from a overdrive trans are the same as a regular 4 speed. And is the mount for the hurst handle the same.I was going to use the overdrive but then got a hold of a hemi 4 speed.I am in the process of converting a 73 auto cuda to a manual. thanks

No they are different, especially since you need the long rods for an E body.

Hey Wayne, I read somewhere that you buy 4 speed trannies. I have a 4 speed from a 74 Duster with the shifter mounting bracket on it. Are you interested in it? Greg

416 stroker from Nick at Compu-flow. 11.14 in full street trim. Seems like a new best every time out.
