I would like to figure out what size wheels/tires will work on my 67 coronet after I upgrade the brakes. I will need 17" or 18" to clear calipers, I would like to get as much meat as possible on the front and back. I was thinking 17x8 or 17x7 wheels with 5" B.S. 275/45?/17 on back and 255 on front. Or 18x8 275/45/18 on back and 255 on front. I would prefer 17's if I can find the right wheels. Anyone have these on a 66-67 b-body? Is this the biggest size that will fit and not rub? Thanks!

Your problem will be clearance between the caliper and wheel. A 17" wheel will normally clear calipers on 13" rotors but it can be close. What you need to watch out for is the width of a multi-piston caliper. If you're using a Brembo style caliper the wheel must move the spokes away from the brakes.
My 18" wheels and 14" rotors left feeler gauge clearance around the caliper.
Here's a pic of my mockup to demonstrate the concern. Try putting a regular wheel on that rotor. It's going to hit the caliper before it ever touches the lugs.

My car used two piece wheels with one-off centers to clear the calipers. Going completely custom like this is not required but I had a specific wheel in mind.
