I know this subject has been beat to death.... But, I purchased a world hemi block and with it came a new eagle stock stroke crank. Now, without too much bashing or negativity pushing toward stroking it... What are realistic number and power range if I leave it stock stroke bore it to 4.320 and run MP aluminum heads with the two four intake? Also, I want this as streetable as possible so pistons that'll put round 10.5-11.0CR are what I'm looking at. The cam I'd like to stay under .600" lift if possible? So, that being said what's realistic and whats not? I'm pushing 550-575 out of my 505 stroker with a six pack... Can I be close and run as well as the stroker does? TIA

Aluminum or cast iron? If its cast iron, what part number? I have a WP iron block with a 4.15 crank at 484 cubes and will probably be going 572 with it unless I find an aluminum block....Mine is making 660hp so far and I need +700hp to take a 3230lb car to 10.0....On mild gearing. So the whole rotating assemble will be for sale. Getting pricing to do a 572 in my block now, but would rather leave it and swap to an aluminum 572..

It's an iron block. But PM me and we can talk. I'm interested in the rotataing assembly! PN-P5153343. Or that's what it looks like?

My math says 700 HP should be mid 9's at 140 or so.
660 HP should be 9.90's at about 138. Just my math
My math shows with me in it at 3500lbs total weight, and 660hp at the crank....10.70 which it ran 10.74 last year. This year only 10.95, but it was running lean as I figure out a fuel pressure drop issue.
790hp puts me right where I want to be, so I was going to upsize it...

I am torn between 540" and 572" on my own build. Can you share some of your info on the 572" kits?

Pump gas, flat tappet, 528 can give you up to 800 hp. That's enough for most applications. And easy on parts. Barton says he has one guy with 30,000 miles on his.

I went 528 and later on 605 and never looked back. It's only 10.4-1 and the heads only flow 386@.700 but makes stupid torque and hp. At 3500rpm it makes 764.3ftlbs of torque and 513.3hp. Peak numbers are 852.8hp@5782rpm and 818.4ftlbs.@4818rpm. It's 800+hp from 5200rpm to the end of the pull at 6600were it's still making 812hp. It trys to kill me every chance it gets on the street. With what you have planned, I don't think the stock stroke hemi will be any better, or even as good, as your current 505" wedge. Especially if your 505 has decent heads on it.
Build the hemi as big as you can. I have a 572 in my cuda and putting a 540 together for my dad's road runner. I wish I'd gone ahead and built a 604 instead of my 572.
