I'm putting my motor back in and I'm having a brain fart. I'm running a crank trigger and am wondering how to set my timing. Do I set the balancer at zero and then put my distributor pointing at # 1 plug wire or do I set the balancer at 34 degrees and then install my distributor pointing at #1 plug wire? I'm running 34 degrees timing.

Thanks, Clint

Line up the sensor with the magnet.with the balancer on 34 if that's what you want the timing at. Then line up distributor with number one.

Set the crank to 34 degrees and line up the magnet / pick up.
Have the rotor pointing at #1.
Start and check.
If you're closer than 2 degrees , you're a better man than I.

Make sure to phase the rotor . After you confirm timing. And that polarity of sensor is correct . Digital box full advance , analog box full retard.
