What is the factory distance the tip sticks out past the lower bend or shy of the upper farthest point for a 70 RR? I assume its somewhere less than the upper or else it would've been a shin whacker.

Are those original, nos, nors, or repro tips?

I'm installing the tti 3", but I'd still like to put the tips about where they should go. On the tti's the mounting finger is on the pipe not the tips like the factory.

If you have the correct hangers and the correct tips,It almost will only go in and out 1/2 either way.

Yes, ...but I mentioned in my 2nd post I was installing tti's 3". They are different than stock. The finger is on the pipe.



You have to decide where to cut for the stainless tti tips.

Lol,...just thought of something,...hopefully the tips aren't to long. I'll have to check on that.

I'll flip the hanger after the rest of the exhaust gets hung.
