I thought I would post a pic of a Thermoquad I just went through for Ralph's (RalphsRapidTrnst) 72 Demon. I sold him a custom cam, carb and some other parts. I happened to have this Reman carb on hand so I set it up for him, should feed 500 plus HP.

That's not factory appearing. When did they take the choke plates and linkage off them?

Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.

Who sells them?

I've got a couple left but you can buy them at advanced auto parts. They tend to be hit or miss. It's always a good idea to go through them. You find crazy things like a screw loose or missing, missmatched jets, wrong lingage, you name it.

They never did. I do because the choke reduces the flow a little bit. You have to rejet after removing choke restrictions. There is no rule that says you cant.

The rules say you may remove the choke.

Stock SB thermoquads were 800 cfm, I dont know the exact improvements my mods made. Demon sizzler sells jets. I often machine new or used jets to a new size but I didn't on this one because Ralph owns a strip kit. The jets in my own car are machined by me.

I've got a couple left but you can buy them at autozone (PM me and I can save you a few bucks). They tend to be hit or miss. It's always a good idea to go through them. You find crazy things like a screw loose or missing, missmatched jets, wrong lingage, you name it.

I looked on their site and can't find a listing for a TQ.

I want my fair share

WOW! Thats enough to hurt someone.

Autozone and advanced did sell them. I just checked advanced and they have the holleys for $280 plus $30 core charge.

I'll sell one of mine for less.
