Your car would be 2 tenths quicker at Thompson IMHO...Quaker is very slow.

Not anymore it isn't. i used to run .010-.015 slower there but in the same weather I ran the same there and PRP. Something changed and my 60' was real good there.

Dave, what are your thoughts, besides shoelaces?

Sorry, I was in a silly mood!

Hey, I get silly too sometimes

Thought I would post again for a bump for Ken to see if he has any more interest in this thread.

Sorry guys, work sometimes interferes w/the car. No these are off the shelf non-ported heads. I had Mopar Stage 6 heads on it before. So to me either way I am better off than before. As for all the input thanks alot!! Going to bump the timing a bit back& take a close look at the plugs. These passes were totally out of the box #'s. Just seeing what others have done & run. Like I said seemed rich too me overall. But #'s wise, I always go .10 faster @ Thompson. Usually .20 faster at Norwalk. Just have to see what the next cpl weeks brings. Car has went as quick as 10.14 @ 129 & 60' of 1.29 in the past. Looking to get back to close to that # as possible. Don't think my old heads even ported would flow 300 on the intake like these claim to be out of the box. Will try & keep up w/this as I have time. As for fuel pressure & such, it is all the same as before. Never an issue there. Ignition is a 7-Al3 & matching Pro-Power coil w/Firecore wires.
Thanks, Ken

If you do not have a chance to get a set of Champion CX57CX or Autolite AR3932 plugs close the gap to .025 on the plugs you are now running and I think that will be a improvement for you.

I have an NGK plug in it now. It was what INdy called there hot Champion plug. NGK is what was in stock. Have a big .55 gap on it as well. Just ordered the Autolites & my local Auto Zone. Will have them tomorrow & will close that gap up.
Thanks, Ken Michalik
